Job summary

NEW START Education Center Pte. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Chinese language teacher to plan and deliver engaging lessons for Primary 1 to Primary 6, aligned with the MOE syllabus and aimed at developing oral and writing skills.

You will monitor progress, provide targeted support, manage the classroom, prepare materials, and communicate regularly with parents and management to report on student development.

Qualifications

• Plan and deliver Chinese lessons for Primary 1–6 aligned with the MOE syllabus.
• Develop students’ oral and writing skills using targeted teaching strategies.
• Monitor progress through assessments and provide targeted academic support.

Responsibilities

• Plan lessons aligned with MOE syllabus for P1–P6 to ensure curriculum compliance and effective learning.
• Prepare teaching materials and worksheets to support lesson objectives.
• Develop students’ oral and writing skills with targeted teaching strategies.
• Monitor progress through assessments and provide targeted academic support to address gaps.
• Mark assignments and provide constructive feedback to guide student improvement.
• Maintain effective classroom management for a positive learning environment.
• Create revision notes and practice papers to reinforce learning for assessments.
• Communicate regularly with parents and management about student progress and concerns.
• Participate in training sessions and assist with centre activities for ongoing professional development.
