33 Auction Pte. Ltd. in Singapore invites applications for Associate Specialist (Modern & Contemporary Art, Antiquities) to assist in the curation, research, and execution of modern, contemporary, and antique auctions, both live and online.

The role focuses on managing consignments, producing high-quality cataloguing content, and supporting client relationships, with a strong emphasis on Southeast Asian art.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Art History, Fine Arts, Arts Management, or related discipline.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in an auction house, art gallery, or art advisory environment.
• Strong interest and knowledge in Modern & Contemporary art, particularly in Southeast Asia.
• Excellent research, writing, and English communication skills; Mandarin or another Asian language is advantageous.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines with attention to detail and a proactive, collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist in consignment sourcing, research, and evaluation for live and online auctions.
• Draft catalogue entries, artist biographies, and curatorial notes; coordinate photography and data entry.
• Support client relationships with collectors, consignors, and institutions; respond to inquiries.
• Assist in sale execution, post-sale reporting, and consignment settlements; provide after-sale support.
• Monitor regional and international art trends and maintain artist databases and performance analyses.
