Job summary

WORKINGS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Civil/Structural Site Engineer to review drawings, manage construction progress, and ensure quality.

You will coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on multiple sites across the city, providing technical support to the site team. The role requires a civil engineering degree and at least two years of relevant experience in civil, structural, or architectural projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in civil, structural, or architectural projects.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural and structural drawings, specs, schedules, and quantities for accuracy and completeness.
• Knowledge in CAD/BIM.
• Create construction and worker shift schedules.
• Monitor permits, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Attend coordination meetings with client, consultants, and main contractor to meet time, budget, and quality goals.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers; monitor performance and quality of materials and services.
• Assist project manager in supervising construction activities on assigned projects.
• Travel between project sites across the city.
• Provide technical support to site team members.
• Inspect structural and architectural works to ensure quality.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties.

Responsibilities

• Review of all the architectural and structural drawings specifications, schedules and quantities to ensure accuracy and completeness for construction progress.
• Knowledge in CAD/BIM
• Making sure that the entire materials utilized as well as work conducted is according to provisions.
• Create schedules for construction and worker shifts
• Monitor and comply with guidelines and regulations regarding permits, safety, etc.
• Attending coordination meetings organized by client, consultants and main contractor to ensure projects are completed within time frame, budget and optimal quality.
• Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers etc., monitor performance, workmanship and quality of materials and services.
• To assist project manager in the supervision and management of construction activities to assigned project
• Travel amongst our various project sites throughout the city
• Provide technical support to other site team members
• Inspection on structural and architectural works to control quality of project.
• Others ad-hoc duties assigned.

Requirements

• The candidate must have a degree in civil engineering
• The candidate must have a minimum 2 years of experience in Civil, Structure, Architectural
• Must have a positive attitude, be a team player
