Job summary

Achieve Group is seeking a Credit Analyst to support credit risk assessment and counterparty management within a commodities trading environment. You will evaluate the financial strength of trading counterparties, monitor credit exposure, and provide timely risk analysis to support business decisions.

We are seeking a Credit Analyst to support credit risk assessment and counterparty management within a commodities trading environment. This role will be responsible for evaluating the financial strength of trading counterparties, monitoring credit exposure, and providing timely risk analysis to support business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct credit assessments on counterparties through financial statement, cash flow, and credit risk analysis.
• Monitor counterparty exposure, credit limits, and market developments to identify potential risks.
• Prepare credit recommendations and support internal approval processes.
• Assist in maintaining credit documentation and ensuring adherence to internal risk policies and procedures.
• Work closely with trading, operations, and finance teams to support effective credit risk management.
• Support ongoing monitoring and reporting of credit exposures and portfolio risks.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and ad hoc projects where required.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline with approximately 4–5 years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or within commodities/energy trading environments.
• Strong financial analysis and analytical skills.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
