Job summary

Gunvor Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Credit Analyst based in Singapore to join the local credit team. You will analyze and report on external and internal credit information, provide credit assessments and recommendations, and support negotiations of credit-related matters with counterparties.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in energy commodities trading, and familiarity with ISDA/CSA/MSPA master agreements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Credit Analyst; energy commodities trading experience preferred.
• Experience with Master Agreements such as ISDA, CSA or MSPA used in commodities trading.
• Strong Excel, Access and database skills.
• Fluency in English; Mandarin would be beneficial for stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor and manage a portfolio of mainly Asian counterparties with regards to credit exposures, potential future exposures and changes in credit quality.
• Day-to-day trade approvals under existing limits and a local delegated authority.
• Ensure compliance with Centalion Credit Policies and Procedures.
• Financial analysis of counterparties and preparation of credit reviews for Credit Committee
• Evaluate and help structuring complex multi-commodity and/ or long-term transactions.
• Support negotiations and administration of credit agreements and other master trading agreements.
• Maintain relationships with Clients, Counterparts, Financial Institutions and other stakeholders.
• Ad hoc duties as assigned by the manager.
