Job summary

Persol Singapore PTE LTD is seeking a senior professional to lead platform governance, policy development, and risk-aware moderation for a large internet platform. You will shape content standards, manage moderation teams and vendor relationships, and partner with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance to mitigate threats and ensure regulatory alignment.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, escalation leadership, and transparent reporting to leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 5 to 8+ years of experience in trust and safety, content moderation, or platform governance at a significant internet or social platform.
• Comprehensive knowledge of crypto, blockchain, and Web3, with the ability to identify associated risks.
• Proven experience in managing moderation teams and vendor relationships effectively.
• Strong skills in policy writing and decision-making, particularly in ambiguous situations.
• Data-driven approach; proficient in analytics tools, dashboards, and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and enhance platform content policies and community guidelines.
• Define moderation standards for content risks such as scams and misinformation.
• Oversee daily moderation operations, including internal teams and external vendors.
• Optimize moderation workflows and quality assurance processes to ensure high standards.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to improve AI moderation tools.
• Monitor emerging threats and abuse patterns across the platform.
• Lead incident response for significant content violations and crises.
• Develop escalation protocols and cross-team coordination.
• Work with Legal, Compliance, and Policy teams to ensure alignment with global regulations.
• Educate and inform the creator community about policy updates and changes.
• Represent the governance philosophy to internal and external stakeholders.
• Define and track KPIs related to governance and moderation effectiveness.
• Produce regular reports for leadership on moderation and ecosystem health.
