Job summary

Dada Consultants is recruiting a Policy Specialist to join the Trust & Safety policy team for a fast-growing global content platform. You will shape content and community policy across international markets to safeguard platform safety and ecosystem health, translating principles into actionable moderation and governance standards.

You will collaborate with cross-functional partners across legal, product, engineering, and moderation teams to address policy risks and stay ahead of industry trends

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Trust & Safety, content policy, platform governance, or related areas.
• Overseas or cross-border work experience preferred.
• Experience building content policy or trust & safety frameworks from scratch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize global content and community policies to protect platform safety and ecosystem health.
• Translate policy principles into clear, actionable moderation standards and guidelines for frontline teams.
• Partner with moderation, legal, product, and engineering teams to ensure policy understanding and smooth implementation.

About our client

We're hiring a Policy Specialist to join the Trust & Safety policy team of a fast-growing global content platform, helping shape and refine content and community policy across international markets to safeguard platform safety, compliance, and ecosystem health.

In this role, you'll navigate emerging content risk issues, translate policy principles into actionable moderation and governance standards, and work closely with cross-functional partners across legal, product, engineering, and moderation teams. Strong analytical thinking, cross-cultural fluency, and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-moving global environment are essential.

What you'll do:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize global content and community policies (community guidelines, ads policy, creator policy, etc.) to protect platform safety and ecosystem health
• Translate policy principles into clear, actionable moderation standards and operational guidelines to support frontline teams
• Partner cross-functionally with moderation, legal, product, and engineering teams to ensure consistent policy understanding and smooth implementation
• Identify and assess platform risks, monitor policy effectiveness and industry trends, and continuously drive policy iteration

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Law, Public Policy, International Relations, Media, Sociology, or related fields
• 4+ years of experience in Trust & Safety, content policy, platform governance, or related areas - overseas or cross-border work experience preferred
• Experience building content policy or trust & safety frameworks from scratch at an early-stage global company is a strong plus.
• Fluent English (working language)
• Strong cross-cultural communication skills and understanding of regional user behavior and cultural nuances
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-timezone environment
