Job summary

YEW CHOON PTE LTD is seeking a Crane Operator to inspect, operate, and manage cranes and related equipment on-site. You will follow standard operating procedures to ensure safe lifting and support junior operators as needed.

The role requires a valid crawler crane license, 3+ years of relevant experience, and a willingness to work overtime while maintaining strict safety standards on site with other workers.

Qualifications

• Possess valid Crawler Crane License.
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
• Flexibility to work overtime when necessary.
• Excellent coordination, focus and commitment to follow safety protocols.
• Crawler Crane capacity: 90, 150, 600 & 750 tonnes.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and ensure crane is in good working condition daily before operation.
• Control cranes and other equipment using SOPs to ensure safe lifting for all personnel on site.
• Provide support to other crane operators; may work overtime to complete tasks.
• Perform routine maintenance and initiate repairs with mechanics when necessary.

Job description

• Inspect and ensure that the assigned crane is in good working condition on a daily basis according to the Daily checklist before commencing operation.
• Control cranes, lifts and other equipment using standard operating procedures to ensure effective lifting of materials and safety for all personnel on site
• Provide additional support to other crane operators as necessary, including working overtime to complete tasks, operating several types of equipment and training or monitoring junior operators
• Perform routine maintenance procedures and minor repairs as required and initiate additional repair requests from mechanics when necessary
