Job summary

SCAN - BILT PTE LTD is seeking a trained crane operator to operate Tadano crane, lorry crane, tipper and other vehicles on site in Singapore. You will perform daily checks, ensure permissions are in place, and maintain equipment in safe, clean condition while following traffic rules.

You must hold a Class 5 licence, be MOM recognised, and have at least 3 years in oil and gas crane operations. Strong communication, safety knowledge, and prompt reporting of defects are essential to ensure safe

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 5 driving licence.
• Qualified crane operator with MOM recognition is required.
• Able to communicate effectively with staff and others involved in lifting operations.
• Basic knowledge of crane safety requirements and operating procedures.
• Minimum 3 years of oil and gas crane operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate Tadano crane, lorry crane, tipper lorry, goods lorry or van as required.
• Perform daily checks and weekly inspections; ensure permissions and certificates are in place before operation.
• Ensure vehicles/equipment are in safe working condition before use.
• Maintain assigned crane in a clean and tidy condition.
• Obey all traffic rules and regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments of surroundings and loads to ensure safe lifting operations.
• Ensure all goods are secure before moving.
• Ensure all passengers are seated or belted before moving.
• Care for and maintain vehicles operating on site.
• Perform other tasks as instructed by the Manager or Supervisor.
• Report any abnormalities or damage to the vehicle promptly to the project incharges.
• Always keep the vehicle clean and tidy.

• Perform daily check, weekly inspection; ensure all required permission and certificate are in place before operation/driving.
• Ensure that vehicles / equipment are in safe working condition before operating
• Maintain assigned crane in clean and tidy working condition
• Obey all traffic rules and regulations.
• Perform risk assessment of surroundings and goods to be lifted so as to ensure that the lifting operations can be carried out safely.
• Ensure all goods are secure before moving out.
• Ensure all passengers are seated or belt up before moving out
• Ensure proper care and maintenance of the vehicles operating on.
• To perform other tasks as instructed by Manager / Supervisor
• Report promptly to the Project incharges on any abnormality/damage found on the vehicle
• Always keep the vehicle clean and tidy

Requirements

• Possesses a Class 5 driving licence
• Qualified crane operator with MOM recognised.
• Be able to communicate with staff and others involved in the lifting operation
• Have basic knowledge of the crane safety requirement and operating procedures
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in oil and gas industry
