Qualifications

• Experience in bread making or bakery production is preferred.
• Willingness to learn and follow recipes, instructions and safety procedures.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Able to perform production tasks involving standing, repetitive movements and handling ingredient trays, using appropriate equipment and safe work methods.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and prepare ingredients according to recipes and production requirements.
• Assist with dough mixing, dividing, rounding and shaping.
• Monitor proofing conditions and timings under supervision.
• Assist with oven loading, unloading and baking after completing relevant training.
• Check product quality, consistency and appearance, and report defects.
• Follow production schedules and minimise ingredient wastage.
• Store, label and rotate ingredients appropriately.
• Clean and sanitise equipment, utensils and workstations.
• Follow food hygiene, workplace safety and safe equipment operating procedures.
• Perform other reasonable duties related to bakery production.
