Job summary

Recruit Expert Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a procurement professional to join our EMS-focused team. The role centers on cost analysis, supplier evaluation, and strategic sourcing to support quotations and project execution.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Production, Planning, and Sales to ensure timely sourcing, maintain vendor relationships, and drive cost optimizations while meeting delivery targets. A Diploma in SCM with at least 2 years in EMS or semiconductor is required.

• 2+ years in costing, sourcing or procurement in EMS/electronics/semi.
• Experience sourcing electronic components and BOM costing.
• Proficient with Excel and ERP/MRP systems.

Job description

• Source and evaluate suppliers, obtain quotations, and compare pricing to support procurement and quotation activities.
• Prepare product costing, BOM cost analysis, and pricing proposals to ensure competitive and accurate quotations.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms while identifying opportunities for cost optimisation.
• Maintain supplier relationships, monitor vendor performance, and support purchasing and inventory planning activities.
• Work closely with Engineering, Production, Planning, and Sales to ensure timely sourcing and project execution.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in costing, sourcing, or procurement within the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), electronics manufacturing, or semiconductor industry.
• Hands‑on experience sourcing electronic components, PCB assemblies, and related manufacturing materials, with knowledge of BOM costing and RFQ processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems (e.g. SAP).
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
