Job summary

Techcom Technology Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a cost-focusedQuotation Specialist to manage RFQ master data, source quotations from local and overseas suppliers, and negotiate prices for new parts. You will maintain supplier quotation databases and support engineering with cost-driven discussions on manufacturing feasibility.

The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing with 2–3 years in costing or manufacturing, strong Excel and ERP skills, and the ability to read CAD drawings.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience in costing or manufacturing environment.
• Understand engineering materials, processes and manufacturing methods.
• Ability to read engineering drawing/CAD documents.
• Good knowledge of Excel and experience in ERP.

Responsibilities

• Record quotation number and input the corresponding information in RFQ master list.
• Obtain quotation from suppliers like - Treatment, Painting, Silkscreen, Standard items, Bead blast & Material (local & Overseas).
• Price negotiation with suppliers on specified new parts.
• Maintain the database of supplier quotation according supplier name.
• Calculating the process cost as per drawing with costing sheet.
• Discuss about the possibilities of manufacturing with Engineering Team.
• Propose the technical issues to customer through quote.
• Send the completed RFQ to sales team.
• Cost evaluation for existing project & parts as per management request
• Check & decide the supplier for current running parts.
• Cost down exercise with suppliers based on customers request
• Supplier transfer for existing items.
• Send drawings & target prices to supplier upon request.
• Costing information send to purchaser on new projects with suppliers quote.
• Attend Internal FA review meeting for those information sharing with other team.
• Technical support to sales team for new projects. Customer meeting upon sales request
• Monitor overall quotation schedules with subordinate.
• Commit & updates with sales team on quotation submission date.
