Our client is a leading financial services organisation playing a key role in Singapore's capital markets.
This role offers an opportunity for professionals from restructuring advisory to apply their transaction, financial analysis and stakeholder management experience within a broader corporate advisory and capital markets environment.
Working closely with listed companies, investment banks, lawyers and corporate advisers, you will assess a wide range of strategic corporate transactions, including restructurings, acquisitions, disposals and capital raisings, helping ensure they meet Singapore's listing and regulatory requirements while protecting shareholder interests.
You will:
- Review/assess corporate transactions including acquisitions, disposals, equity fundraisings, restructuring exercises, capital reorganisations and other strategic initiatives.
- Analyse financial information, transaction structures and supporting documentation to assess commercial rationale and regulatory compliance.
- Review announcements, circulars, financial disclosures and transaction submissions prepared by listed companies and their advisers.
- Work closely with company management, boards, investment banks, lawyers, auditors and corporate finance advisers.
- Assess the impact of proposed transactions on shareholders, governance obligations and ongoing listing requirements.
- Provide guidance to listed companies on corporate transactions, disclosure obligations and governance matters.
- Build strong working relationships with listed companies and professional advisers while applying regulatory requirements consistently and pragmatically.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, etc
- At least 3 years' experience within Restructuring Advisory, Turnaround & Restructuring, Transaction Services, Financial Due Diligence, Corporate Finance or Valuations.
- Experience analysing financial statements, assessing business performance, reviewing transaction documentation or supporting complex corporate transactions.
- Exposure to restructuring engagements, refinancing, business reviews, distressed situations, capital restructurings or M&A transactions would be advantageous.
- Professional qualification such as CA Singapore, ACA, CPA, CVA, or CFA are beneficial.
- Strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex commercial information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and external advisers.
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgement and a genuine interest in corporate transactions and Singapore's capital markets.
