• Provide technical and strategic leadership for a team (senior role) and guide professional growth.
• Design and implement workplace processes considering future trends and needs.
• Build strong relations and workflows with stakeholders and mentor junior staff.
• Drive strategic planning efforts to help SID achieve its objectives.

Job description

What the role is:

You will ensure SID is future ready by formulating plans to guide the department's strategic and operational decisions, and by helping to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of SID’s systems.

What you will be working on:

• Work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic and operational frameworks, policies, and processes
• Manage SID’s resources in areas of budget, manpower establishment and physical space planning; and review performance management to support planning efforts and decision-making processes
• Develop effective communication and engagement plans to communicate these policies and processes to internal and external stakeholdersIf you are in a senior role, in addition to the above, you will need to:
• Provide technical and strategic leadership for a team
• Design and implement workplace processes, with future trends and needs in mind
• Plan and guide your team’s professional growth, in both general and technical areas
• Build good relations and workflows with internal and external stakeholders
• Mentor and develop junior team members to maximise their potentialWhat you will gain:
