Job summary

Bank of America Singapore is seeking a credit-focused professional to analyze client creditworthiness and write credit memos for renewals and new lending opportunities. You will assess qualitative and quantitative data including financials, projections, industry data, covenants, and collateral to ensure risk appetite alignment.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Corporate or Investment Bank with a credit, research, corporate banking or other analytical/underwriting capability.
• Basic knowledge in capital market transactions as well as banking products.
• Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and to plan and prioritize appropriately.
• High personal standards of quality and a willingness to take responsibility for accurate and timely completion of tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Pro-active & positive nature, problem solving skills, and results-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support for senior team members and interact with origination, risk and support functions to support portfolio growth.
• Analyze customer financial strength, business strategy, market factors, and regulatory environment to prepare credit memos and support portfolio management across corporates.
• Monitor financial performance, industry trends and news flow related to existing and new relationships.
• Develop familiarity with trading documents, loan agreements and other relevant legal documents.
• Understand internal policy, procedures and regulatory requirements and ensure full compliance.
• Maintain dialogue with business partners to analyze opportunities/risks and provide financial solutions to clients and the bank.
• Develop product knowledge of credit products including loans, derivatives, trade finance, cash management and treasury products.
• Manage various requests and transaction executions, including internal/external reviews, credit approvals and audits.
