NOVEL SUNKRIS BUSINESS SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. seeks a Core Operations support professional to aid a multinational bank during IPB LE migration and related testing across transaction postings, settlement processes, and regulatory reporting. The role emphasizes UAT, end-to-end testing, and collaboration with vendors.

The candidate will engage with multiple teams to validate GL mappings, reconcile data, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining BAU service continuity.

Qualifications

• Essential: 1-3 years relevant experience in banking & operations support.
• Desirable: At least 3 years relevant experience in banking & operations support.
• Bachelor’s degree or above.

• Handle project delivery, ensuring timely execution, quality outcomes, and operational readiness.
• Partner with development teams to resolve technical issues and support system integration activities.
• Oversee/Perform UAT and ensure end-to-end testing is conducted to ensure solution quality and minimal operational impact.
• Support SMEs on BAU activities so that SMEs can review and validate complicated scenarios.
• Support update of process note to reflect Project Anchor changes where applicable.

Job description

Core Operations:

The role will support Project Anchor in Core Operations for a MNC Bank.

• With the introduction of the new IPB GL/CO structure, extensive testing and verification will be required across transaction postings, manual accounting entries, settlement processes, and chargeback/dispute transaction codes to ensure accurate financial processing and reporting.
• Regulatory reporting, including Payment Statistics, GRITT, and MAS643, will be segregated under IPB. Comprehensive testing and validation are required to ensure reporting accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
• IPB will adopt the BIC and Bank Code for GIRO, FAST, PayNow, MEPS, Telegraphic Transfers (TT), and cheque transactions. This will require extensive end-to-end testing covering functional processing, industry conversion validation, treasury funding, and settlement activities to ensure seamless implementation and operational readiness.

DSU/OSG/Card Ops

• Extensive coordination, engagement, and testing with multiple vendors will be required to support the technology changes impacting statements, advices, debit/ATM cards, and cheque book processes, ensuring seamless implementation and service continuity.
• With the proposed GL changes, all system parameters, configurations, and processes containing GL references will require comprehensive review, validation, and updates to ensure accurate accounting treatment and downstream processing.

SAMS/SPO

• Ensure no impact to U.S. tax/regulatory reporting and regulatory order processing through comprehensive testing and validation.
• Conduct regression testing for account opening, Day 2 controls, and account/demographics maintenance processes.
• Perform end-to-end regression testing of Deposit, PA, and FX processes, including GL posting and reconciliation.

All Core Operations Departments

• Operational reports will need to be segregated between IPB and GCG. Impacted reports must undergo review, testing, and validation to ensure reporting accuracy and data integrity and to also support SMEs on BAU activities

Key Responsibilities:
