Job summary

Kasi Jeyaseelan Naveen (Proprietor of Arient Solutions) seeks a Continuous Improvement Specialist to deploy Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and RCA across operations, using VSM, DMAIC and 5S to drive value and operational excellence.

You will analyze processes, lead cross-functional workshops, map current and future states, and implement sustainable improvements with clear KPIs, dashboards in Power BI/Tableau to track impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline is required.
• 2–5 years in Continuous Improvement, Lean, or Operational Excellence.
• Proven experience applying Lean/Six Sigma and structured problem-solving methods.

• Deploy, maintain, and sustain the organization's Operating System by applying Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and structured problem-solving, methodologies, including Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Process Mapping, DMAIC, FMEA, 5S, Visual Management, Standard Work, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA), ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational excellence initiatives.


• Analyze business and operational processes to identify improvement opportunities, eliminate waste, enhance productivity, improve quality, and optimize operational performance.


• Lead and facilitate Value Stream Mapping (VSM), process mapping, and continuous improvement workshops to identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and develop future-state solutions.


• Lead or support continuous improvement projects from opportunity identification through implementation, ensuring timely delivery of sustainable improvements.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process gaps, implement corrective actions, and drive sustainable operational improvements.


• Develop, maintain, and monitor continuous improvement dashboards, project trackers, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project progress, operational performance, business impact, and the realization of improvement benefits across productivity, quality, cost, delivery.


• Facilitate Kaizen events and structured problem-solving workshops to promote a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.


• Coach and support employees in the application of Lean principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and problem-solving tools to build organizational capability and foster operational excellence.


• Develop digital solutions using tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Power Apps, Power Automate, Ignition or equivalent platforms to create dashboards, automate workflows, enhance process visibility, and support data-driven decision-making.

Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.


• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Operations.


• Practical experience in applying Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and structured problem-solving methodologies to deliver measurable operational improvements.


• Proven experience facilitating Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping (VSM) workshops, process mapping, and structured problem-solving initiatives.


• Experience leading or supporting cross-functional continuous improvement projects from opportunity identification through implementation and benefits realization.


• Experience in project management, including planning, coordinating, and tracking improvement initiatives with defined milestones, timelines, and stakeholder reporting.


• Proficient in data analysis, visualization, and workflow automation tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Power Apps, Power Automate, or equivalent digital platforms.


• Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.


• Experience in OEM manufacturing is preferred.


• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent certification is an added advantage.
