Job summary

AIA Singapore is seeking an experienced IT professional to design, develop, and maintain BPM and Document Management solutions that enhance business processes and information management. You will contribute to the organization's technological advancement by delivering scalable enterprise applications and ensuring quality across internal and offshore teams.

Responsibilities include delivering prioritized work for new product rollouts, managing tasks in Case360, CIS, FPR, and LEAP, and aligning

Qualifications

• University Degree in IT or equivalent.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience delivering IT solutions using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot Microservices and BPM/Workflow tools.
• Proven ability to manage and collaborate with internal and external teams, including local or offshore personnel and service providers.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Certification in Java/J2EE, BPM or workflow systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of insurance processes and business domain.
• Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as Java, J2EE (Spring Framework), and Spring Boot microservices.
• Experience with application servers and tools such as JBoss EAP, JBoss Drools, and Apache web server.
• Possesses Database knowledge in MS SQL Server and stored procedures.
• Experience working with BPM/Workflow systems, preferably in OpenText Case360, Software AG BPM, and Microsoft Logic Apps/PowerApps.
• Cloud computing: Microsoft Azure platform, Designing and deployment using Dockers & AKS, and Azure functions.
• Additional programming skills (a plus) in Python, C#, and SharePoint.
• Familiarity with web development technologies such as AngularJS & jQuery (Kendo UI) and JSP.

• Align technical solutions with the organization's strategic objectives.
• Analyze the impact of technology on business processes and propose optimization strategies.
• Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions that maximize the return on technology investments.
• Ensure that the work done by the department colleagues are aligned to corporate responsibilities (e.g. Fair Dealing).
• Ensures there are no major risk audit comments and achieve audit rating of Needs Minor Improvement or above.

About The Role

Contribute to the organization's technological advancement by designing, developing, and maintaining effective BPM and Document Management application solutions that enhance business processes and information management.

What You Will Do

Application Delivery

• Delivery of prioritized works, in supporting new products roll-out initiative.
• Managing the prioritization and execution of tasks in various enterprise applications (Case360, CIS, FPR, LEAP).
• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable BPM and Document Management application solutions to optimize business processes and information management.
• Proactively manage quality standards across the entire development landscape, including the local team, AIA offshore development centers, and external vendors.
  

IT Risk & Security

• No overdue items in completion of management actions to address audit findings.
• Timely remediation for any vulnerabilities reported within the Standard timeline.
• Timely raise exception request to cover all the vulnerabilities that cannot be remediated with Standard timeline and obtain approval before due date.
• Zero delay for all critical, high, and medium risks mitigation and acceptance within stipulated timeframe.
