Job summary

SMTP Consult Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to translate the company’s vision into scalable operational reality across all business units. The role requires deep leadership in technology-enabled operations, carbon markets, and sustainability-focused strategy.

You will drive the technology roadmap, build cross-geography teams, and partner with finance to manage P&L, procurement, and governance. A strong climate-action track record is essential.

Qualifications

• 15–20 years of experience, with at least 8 years in a meaningful leadership role.
• Track record of scaling operations in energy, SaaS, or carbon markets.
• Exposure to climate tech, carbon markets, renewable energy, or sustainability-focused businesses preferred.
• Hands‑on experience building and managing technology teams that develop platforms and digital products.
• Exposure to carbon/biodiversity due diligence teams and negotiating carbon credit contracts.

Responsibilities

• Translate board-level strategy into detailed operational plans with milestones and KPIs.
• Oversee technology roadmap for current needs and future growth.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation across operations.
• Build and mentor diverse leadership across operations, technology, and carbon markets.
• Foster stakeholder relationships with investors, regulators, and partners.
