Job summary

LEADER ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled machinist to read engineering drawings and determine machining operations, plan sequences, and ensure parts meet specifications. The role involves setting up and operating conventional machine tools and performing precision, non-repetitive work including gear cutting.

The candidate will verify dimensions with precision instruments and lay out workpieces to required tolerances, contributing to quality and efficiency in production processes.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables or study sample parts to determine machining operation to be performed, and plan best sequence of operations.
• Compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out work pieces.
• Set up, operate and maintain a variety of machine tools including Conventional Machines tools
• To perform precision, non-repetitive machining operations such as Gear cutting and other operations
• Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.

Job Responsibility:

Set up, operate and maintain a variety of machine tools including Conventional Machines tools

To perform precision, non-repetitive machining operations such as Gear cutting (advantages), Optional if Turning, Milling, Boring, Planing, Drilling, Precision grinding and other operations

Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
