Job summary

RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. is seeking a Materials Engineering professional in the West of Singapore to join our team for ongoing transformation projects.

The role focuses on electrical hardware, control systems, and embedded solutions, with duties spanning design, integration, troubleshooting, and customer collaboration. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics or a related field, and has at least 3 years of hands-on experience with sensors, closed-loop

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in electrical hardware, circuitry, embedded systems or controls engineering.
• Experience with C/C++ microcontroller programming (Arduino, Raspberry Pi or similar).
• Good understanding of closed-loop control systems and sensors (pressure, temperature, motion, proximity).
• Hands-on with soldering, crimping, DMMs, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes and electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design and simulate AC/DC power, control, and communication circuits.
• Develop and integrate control systems, sensors, and embedded hardware.
• Assemble, wire, modify, and troubleshoot custom electrical assemblies and control boxes.
• Support product improvement, innovation, and technical solution development.
• Prepare engineering documentation, BOMs, wiring drawings, test procedures, and project reports.
• Work with customers and suppliers on technical requirements, project execution, and issue resolution.
• Provide technical support to Sales and Marketing for customer engagement.
• Support Operations and Quality teams in troubleshooting and process improvements.
