Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an Assistant Controller to ensure accuracy in accounting records and adherence to policies. You will partner with HQ Finance and remote teams to maintain strong controls, drive cash flow metrics and lead controllership initiatives.

The role covers statutory filings, policy application, month-end close and cash forecasting, with SAP experience and IFRS/US GAAP knowledge considered essential. A Big 4 background is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience from Big 4 or second-tier accounting firm with hands-on controllership in industrial/manufacturing
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA/CA) preferred
• Experience with SAP project implementation is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Lead collaboration with HQ Finance and remote teams to ensure controllership and compliance
• Coordinate statutory audits, tax and GST filings with global resources
• Support policy application across revenue recognition, leases, receivables/payables
• Assist month-end closing and issue resolution with cross-functional teams
• Lead cash flow forecasting and reporting for balance sheet accounts
• Manage bank and treasury matters with Centralized Treasury
• Engage with SAP team to support SAP processes adoption
• Ensure accurate government grant accounting and reporting
• Drive process improvements using Lean/Flight Deck principles
