Job summary

ASM in Singapore seeks a Controller within Corporate Controls FP&A to shape the financial performance of corporate functions. You will partner with leaders across the organization to provide insights and support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in finance, controlling, accounting, or FP&A.
  • Minimum 3 years of FP&A experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, and corporate finance practices.
  • Proven experience preparing budgets, forecasts, and management reporting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Finance Business Partner for key corporate functions including Business Development, Risk Management, Tax, Government Relations, and Environmental, Health & Safety.
  • Lead monthly financial controlling activities, including performance analysis and compliance with internal controls.
  • Manage month-end close activities for assigned corporate functions.
  • Drive monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes.
  • Support corporate and group financial reporting activities.
  • Contribute to the annual planning and budgeting cycle.
  • Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and financial performance.
  • Support financial transformation initiatives, including system implementations and process improvements.
  • Participate in strategic projects such as M&A integrations and reporting platform enhancements.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across finance and business functions to support informed decision-making.
