Job summary

RYB Engineering Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a proactive Contracts Manager to lead the contracts team in tendering, contract administration, and close collaboration with procurement for electrical engineering projects. You will ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and drive efficient contract execution for data center builds and commercial developments.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of contracts management experience in the construction/engineering sector, with electrical projects preferred.
• Familiarity with Singapore regulations such as the Building Control Act for electrical installations.
• Knowledge of Malaysia regulations is a plus.
• Proven track record in handling subcontracts, tender evaluations, and contract close-outs in a fast-paced engineering environment.
• Strong negotiation and risk assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead in the preparation, review, and negotiation of contracts, including subcontracts, supply agreements, and variation orders for electrical systems in data centers and commercial projects.
• Lead tender processes by compiling tender documents, evaluating supplier proposals, and ensuring alignment with project specifications and budgets.
• Monitor contract performance, track deliverables, and manage change orders to minimize delays and cost overruns in compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with project teams, including electrical engineers, procurement team, and site managers, to resolve contractual disputes and facilitate smooth project handover.
• Maintain contract documentation, including records of payments, insurance certificates, and performance bonds, using digital tools for tracking.
