Job summary

Tan Tock Seng Hospital is seeking an experienced Research Contracts Manager to join the Clinical Research & Innovation Office (CRIO). You will collaborate with clinicians, researchers, sponsors and partner institutions to ensure contracts are delivered accurately and in line with NHG requirements.

The role focuses on negotiating sponsored research, collaboration and data sharing agreements, while ensuring regulatory and ethical standards are met and risks are managed effectively.

Qualifications

• Degree or Masters in research administration or related field.
• Familiarity with clinical research agreements, technology transfer or commercialization processes.
• Experience with contract management system.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and manage a variety of research agreements including sponsored research, collaboration, confidentiality, material transfer, data sharing and clinical trial agreements.
• Oversee contract lifecycle from initial request to execution and amendments.
• Ensure agreements comply with organizational policies, IP frameworks and funding conditions.
• Identify, mitigate and communicate contractual risks.
• Coordinate with legal counsel on complex or high-risk terms.
• Monitor contract obligations and timelines.
• Serve as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders on contract matters.
• Provide guidance to researchers and project teams on processes and policies.
• Support contract templates, tools and workflows and improve processes.
