Job summary

Allianz Commercial in Singapore is seeking an Underwriting Technician on a contract basis for at least 6 months. You will support quotes, policy documents, endorsements, and policy administration while coordinating with underwriters and offshore teams.

The role emphasizes data handling, timely task delivery, and process improvements, with opportunities to contribute to pricing support and renewal tasks within governance and accuracy standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as a point of contact for Underwriters and support timely and accurate delivery of quotes, policy documentation, endorsements, etc.
• Proactively prepare relevant underwriting information including client / market research and claims data
• Complete standard quote templates including ensuring completeness of information.
• Ensure complete information handovers into ATs and ensure output is aligned to Underwriters / Broker / End insured requirements.
• Ensure timely delivery of all tasks as defined in the above scope of activities.
• Perform preliminary risk appetite check and Broker / Client value.
• Post-bind endorsements, etc.
• Proactive communication with all relevant internal stakeholders.
• Review, update & issue binders and prepare files for audit.
• Support in data entry tasks associated with pricing.
• Support / Within thresholds handle renewal underwriting tasks (without underwriting authority levels) and ensure account readiness for the renewal cycles.
• Support continuous process improvement and automation initiatives within their own area of operations.
