Job summary

ASMPT Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Technician to perform precision assembly, setup, calibration and testing in line with specifications and work instructions. The role supports Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure product quality, performance and on-time delivery.

The position is contract-based, with renewal dependent on performance and business needs, and requires hands-on experience with small-part handling, inspection and measurement equipment in a fast-paced facility in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Diploma / NTC / Higher NITEC in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics.
• 1–3 years in assembly, testing, calibration or manufacturing operations.
• Experience in semiconductor/electronics/automation is a plus.
• Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work overtime or shifts when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision assembly, setup, alignment and calibration per specs and instructions.
• Carry out bonding and adhesive processes with proper workmanship and safety.
• Conduct electrical, mechanical and functional tests with appropriate equipment.
• Perform visual inspection using microscopes to verify acceptance criteria.
• Support prototype builds, engineering evaluations and NPI activities.
• Troubleshoot basics; escalate complex issues as needed.
• Maintain accurate records for production, assembly, test, inspection and traceability.
• Maintain tools and fixtures in good condition; uphold housekeeping and safety.
