Job summary

IET Pte. Ltd. is seeking an assembly technician to assemble precision mechanical components and sub-assemblies. You will follow drawings and work instructions, perform fitting and installation, and use hand and torque tools along with basic measuring instruments. Visual inspection and basic testing will be required to ensure quality.

Training will be provided to support accurate assembly, troubleshooting, and maintaining high standards of safety and housekeeping on the shop floor in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Assemble precision mechanical components and sub-assemblies according to drawings and work instructions.
• Perform fitting, fastening, alignment and installation of parts.
• Use hand tools, torque tools and basic measuring instruments.
• Conduct visual inspection and basic functional testing of completed assemblies.
• Identify assembly defects and carry out basic troubleshooting or rework when required.
• Maintain quality, safety, documentation and housekeeping requirements.
