Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd. is hiring for a Contract KYC Checker in Singapore to perform KYC reviews for private banking clients, conduct due diligence, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

You will review documentation, verify client information, and coordinate with relationship teams to obtain supporting documents. The role focuses on risk-based KYC assessment, PEP and sanctions screening, and timely QC of files in a fast-paced banking environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in Individual / Private Banking KYC, CDD, AML or client due diligence within banking or financial services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform KYC reviews for individual and private banking clients across different risk classifications, covering scheduled and trigger based reviews.
• Conduct customer identification, verification and screening; validate client information including address, employment, PEP and sanctions related information.
• Perform Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) where required, including negative news and other relevant screening checks; escape potential AML concerns for further review.
• Review KYC documentation against regulatory requirements and internal standards; identify information gaps and coordinate with Relationship Managers or outreach teams for supporting documents.
• Conduct checker and quality reviews of KYC files, address discrepancies identified during QC or Business Approval and maintain required quality standards.
• Monitor KYC records and upcoming expiries, support remediation of outstanding cases and liaise with customers where additional information or clarification is required.
