Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure and Cloud leader to define enterprise cloud strategy, govern reference architectures, and drive hybrid cloud initiatives across Azure, AWS, and on-premises platforms.

You will mentor senior engineers, lead major transformation programs, and ensure security, compliance, and disaster recovery standards are met. Strong governance and stakeholder engagement are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related discipline.
Master's degree is advantageous.
Minimum 12–15 years IT Infrastructure and Cloud experience.
Minimum 5 years in a technical leadership role.
Proven experience in Enterprise Data Centres, Cloud Platforms and Transformation programmes.

Responsibilities

Define enterprise cloud and infrastructure strategy with governance.
Lead architecture across Azure, AWS and on-prem platforms.
Develop HLDs/LLDs and migration roadmaps for complex projects.
Provide technical escalation as the highest engineering point (L4/L5).
Mentor Technical Leads, Senior Engineers and Cloud/Infrastructure teams.
Drive platform modernisation, IaC and automation initiatives.
Ensure security, compliance, DR, performance and availability commitments.
Manage vendor relations and participate in executive technical discussions.

Responsibilities

Cloud & Infrastructure Architecture

Define enterprise cloud and infrastructure strategy.
Establish reference architectures, standards, and governance frameworks.
Design hybrid infrastructure solutions covering:
- Microsoft Azure
- AWS
- Private Cloud
- VMware/Nutanix Platforms
- Data Centre Infrastructure
- Container Platforms
Develop and approve:
- High-Level Designs (HLD)
- Low-Level Designs (LLD)
- Technical Design Reviews
- Migration Roadmaps
Ensure solutions meet requirements for:
- Scalability

- Disaster Recovery
- Compliance

Technical Leadership & Escalation Authority

Serve as the highest engineering escalation point (L4/L5).
Lead the resolution of critical infrastructure and cloud incidents.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major incidents.
Drive permanent corrective actions and service improvements.
Provide technical mentoring to:

Professional Services & Pre-Sales Support
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) during:
  - Bid submissions
  - Technical proposals
  - Customer presentations
  - Architecture workshops
- Review Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Support solution costing and effort estimation.
- Contribute to service portfolio development.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with strategic technology partners.
- Participate in executive-level technical discussions.
- Drive vendor escalations and product roadmap alignment.
- Provide advisory services to customers and internal leadership.
Any other ad-hoc duties as advised by supervisor.
