Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd invites a senior IT infrastructure leader to shape cloud strategy across Azure, AWS, and private/hybrid environments. You will manage major migrations, architecture reviews, and service improvements, partnering with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in CS/IT or related field; master's preferred.
12–15 years IT infra and cloud experience with technical leadership.
Proven ability to define cloud architectures, governance, and strategy.

Responsibilities

Define enterprise cloud/infrastructure strategy and reference architectures.
Lead engineering governance, incident resolution, RCA, and improvements.
Oversee cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) including security, DR, and compliance.
Drive IaC, automation, and platform modernisation initiatives.
Provide SME guidance during bids, proposals, and client workshops.

Responsibilities

Cloud & Infrastructure Architecture

Define enterprise cloud and infrastructure strategy.
Establish reference architectures, standards, and governance frameworks.
Design hybrid infrastructure solutions covering:
- Microsoft Azure
- AWS
- Private Cloud
- VMware/Nutanix Platforms
- Data Centre Infrastructure
- Container Platforms
Develop and approve:
- High-Level Designs (HLD)
- Low-Level Designs (LLD)
- Technical Design Reviews
- Migration Roadmaps
Ensure solutions meet requirements for:
- Scalability
- Availability

- Disaster Recovery
- Compliance

Technical Leadership & Escalation Authority

Serve as the highest engineering escalation point (L4/L5).
Lead the resolution of critical infrastructure and cloud incidents.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major incidents.
Drive permanent corrective actions and service improvements.
Provide technical mentoring to:

Professional Services & Pre-Sales Support
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) during:
  - Bid submissions
  - Technical proposals
  - Customer presentations
  - Architecture workshops
- Review Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Support solution costing and effort estimation.
- Contribute to service portfolio development.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with strategic technology partners.
- Participate in executive-level technical discussions.
- Drive vendor escalations and product roadmap alignment.
- Provide advisory services to customers and internal leadership.
Any other ad-hoc duties as advised by supervisor.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
Master's Degree is advantageous.
Minimum 12–15 years of IT Infrastructure and Cloud experience.
Minimum 5 years in a technical leadership role.
