Job summary

Aurecon is seeking a senior project controls professional to join our Buildings team in Singapore. You will contribute to budgeting, forecasting, cost control, invoicing and reporting across complex building and infrastructure projects.

The role emphasizes strong governance, cross-functional collaboration with project managers and finance teams, and the use of industry-standard tools to drive project outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project controls, administration, or services supporting financial and operational delivery of complex projects.
• Demonstrated capability in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, invoicing, reconciliations, and performance reporting.
• Strong understanding of project controls, financial governance, and reporting processes with experience using project/cost management systems.
• Proficiency with project delivery technologies and related tools to improve project outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and collaborative skills in a fast-paced environment.

• Support project financial performance and bid activities by contributing to budget development, forecasting, cost tracking and financial reporting.
• Maintain effective project controls and governance with accurate financial data, records and reporting.
• Coordinate project administration, including invoicing, reconciliations, variation management, and tender support.

What will you do?

In this position, you will join our Buildings business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that 'bring ideas to life' for our clients across all types of building and infrastructure projects. We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it is the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. • Support project financial performance and bid activities by contributing to project setup, budget development, forecasting, cost tracking, and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain effective project controls and governance by ensuring financial data, project records, and reporting are accurate, compliant, and aligned with business requirements.
• Coordinate project administration and commercial processes, including invoicing, reconciliations, commitment tracking, variation management, and support for tender and bid submissions.
• Provide financial and project performance insights by monitoring trends, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting informed decision-making by project teams.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, finance teams, and key stakeholders to strengthen financial controls, enhance reporting quality, and contribute to successful project and business outcomes.

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project controls, project administration, or project services, supporting the financial and operational delivery of complex projects.
• Demonstrated capability in project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, invoicing, reconciliations, and performance reporting.
• Strong understanding of project controls, financial governance, and reporting processes, with experience using project and cost management systems such as Contruent and other industry-standard platforms.
• Proficiency in project delivery technologies including ProjectWise, Primavera P6, Workday, and Microsoft Office, with the ability to leverage systems to improve project outcomes.
• Highly collaborative and detail-oriented professional with strong stakeholder management skills, capable of managing competing priorities, driving accuracy, and supporting both project delivery and bid activities in a fast-paced environment.
