Job summary

GREENMARK CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is hiring a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) cum Environmental Control Officer (ECO) to manage safety, health and environmental practices on site.

The role supports the Safety Manager/Project Manager and will serve as the project’s WSHO and ECO. The successful candidate will implement and maintain the WSHMS and EMP, conduct inspections, investigate incidents, liaise with authorities (MOM, NEA), and deliver inductions and reports with strong attention to

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in construction.
• Must be a registered MOM WSHO.
• Must be a registered NEA ECO.
• BizSAFE Level 2 or equivalent preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore WSH and environmental legislation.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Able to work independently and in a project team.
• Able to commence work immediately or on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Assist Safety Manager/Project Manager in safety, health, environmental and welfare matters to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, project specs and company policies.
• Act as the designated WSHO and ECO for the project.
• Implement and maintain WSHMS and EMP.
• Conduct daily site safety, health and environmental inspections and address hazards.
• Ensure risk assessments and SWPs are effectively implemented.
• Investigate workplace incidents and prepare corrective action reports.
• Monitor environmental controls including dust, noise, waste, water pollution, erosion control, vector control, and housekeeping.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities (MOM, NEA, etc.).
• Conduct safety and environmental inductions, toolbox talks, and training.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly safety and environmental reports.
