Job summary

HY CONSTRUCT PTE. LTD. is seeking a carpentry supervisor to schedule, assign, and plan the work of carpentry shop personnel across diverse projects. The role involves coordinating schedules, equipment usage, and prioritizing expenditures for optimal project flow.

The incumbent will estimate materials and labour, monitor procurement and usage, and train staff on new methods, safety regulations, and construction codes to ensure quality and compliance on future buildings.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, assigns and plans the work of carpentry shop personnel performing a variety of carpentry projects.
• Plans and develops work schedules, equipment usage schedules, priority of carpentry expenditures and procedures for equipment maintenance.
• Estimate material and labour.
• Monitors the acquisition and use of materials.
• Trains or informs employees of new work methods or procedures, changes in safety regulations, work policies, construction codes and the link.
• Reviews plans and specifications for future building and inspects new buildings to ensure quality work and code and specification compliance.
