Job summary

The role involves supervising subcontractors and in-house staff to keep operations smooth and aligned with the project schedule. The ideal candidate is fresh or early in their career, with a background in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Candidates with qualifications in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• No prior working experience required as on-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager and Project Engineer in the daily planning, coordination, and execution of site activities.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors and in-house workers to ensure smooth site operations.
• Work closely with the project team and site personnel to ensure that works are completed according to the project schedule.
• Ensure all construction and installation works are carried out in accordance with approved construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Monitor work progress, productivity, and quality to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Ensure all works are executed in accordance with the required quality standards and acceptable workmanship.
• Attend daily toolbox meetings and communicate clear work instructions, safety requirements, and daily work targets to workers.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, scope of work, safety regulations, and site procedures.
• Identify and promptly report site issues, work delays, quality concerns, and safety hazards to the Project Manager or Project Engineer.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and other trades to resolve site issues and minimise disruption to the project schedule.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and adherence to workplace safety and health requirements at all times.
• Perform other site-related duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Project Engineer.
