Qualifications

• Post-secondary construction training completed.
• Proven experience as a site supervisor.
• CPR and first aid certifications.
• Knowledge of building codes and construction safety regulations.
• Ability to interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Inspect sites regularly to identify and mitigate safety hazards.
• Lead and supervise construction teams and subcontractors.
• Educate workers on safety regulations and accident protocols.
• Enforce site safety rules to minimize incidents.
• Manage site accident responses per protocol.
• Maintain attendance records and support workforce management.
• Analyze blueprints to verify compliance with design, safety and budget.
• Recommend changes to improve safety and efficiency.
