Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Site Manager to oversee day-to-day construction activities in Singapore. You will ensure works progress per schedule and budget while maintaining QA/EHS compliance and safety standards.

You will lead and develop Site Engineers, M&E Engineers and Supervisors, coordinate procurement and tender activities, and manage variations, costs, and contractual requirements across projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Building or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in construction/site management.
• Strong knowledge of Building Control Act and codes.
• Experience with Singapore authority approval processes.
• Knowledge of C&S, M&E and Architectural works.
• Leadership and subcontractor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site construction activities per schedule and budget.
• Ensure QA/EHS compliance and safety standards.
• Coordinate procurement schedules and review tenders.
• Manage project costs, progress payments and cost reporting.
• Lead and supervise Site Engineers, M&E Engineers, and Supervisors.
• Conduct site progress meetings and resolve subcontractor issues.
• Review drawings, identify discrepancies and approve changes.
• Evaluate tenders and approve variation orders.
• Maintain proper site documentation and records.
• Support construction planning including schedules and method statements.
• Drive continuous improvement in construction processes.
