Job summary

GMP Technologies is seeking a site supervisor to manage daily subcontractor activities on our project site in Singapore. You will attend meetings, monitor progress and safety compliance, verify drawings, and coordinate with the project team to ensure timely approvals.

Responsibilities include maintaining inspection records, guiding workers, and supporting cost-saving efforts while adapting to varied hours as required for project needs.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily subcontractors meetings to discuss structure and architectural issues to meet project targets.
• Check site progress and safety compliance of subcontractors and report findings to supervisor and safety officer.
• Verify subcontractors works align with approved drawings/details and take remedial actions for non-conformance.
• Conduct daily inspections with the project RE or RTO and address comments to ensure works are approved for commencement.
• Keep proper inspection records for future reference and submit as evidence for potential defects.
• Provide guidance to general workers and subcontractors, seek senior staff consultation when in doubt.
• Strive for fast approvals for all assignments and apply BCA good practices on site.
• Assist in Environmental Health Safety programs set by the PM/WSHO to maintain a safe site.
• Upgrade oneself through construction courses and cost-saving methods for site efficiency.
• Accept additional project work to support the team and cost savings.
• Coach new site supervisors to ensure seamless integration without affecting progress.
• Be prepared to work varied hours or late nights as necessary for duties.
