Job summary

TJM CONSTRUCTION & ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction site activities, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to project schedules.

You will coordinate workers, subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to achieve project objectives. Responsibilities include supervising on-site operations, monitoring progress, ensuring compliance with drawings and specs, and maintaining site safety and housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Higher NITEC in Construction or related field.
• Relevant experience in construction site supervision.
• Knowledge of construction methods, drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with workplace safety regulations and practices.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on site.
• Monitor work progress and ensure compliance with project schedules.
• Ensure construction works follow approved drawings, specs and method statements.
• Conduct site inspections to maintain quality and identify defects.
• Enforce safety regulations and compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors and clients.
• Monitor manpower, materials, equipment and site resources.
• Prepare daily site reports and progress updates.
• Resolve on-site issues and provide practical solutions to maintain workflow.
• Attend site meetings and toolbox briefings.
• Ensure housekeeping and site organization.
• Assist with inspections, testing and project handover activities.
