Job summary

S & D Contractor Pte. Ltd. is seeking a skilled drafter to produce shop drawings and detailed construction issues.

You will develop drawings required by the project and prepare as-built/shop drawings for submission and interior fit-out works. You will translate oral instructions into precise drawings, update drawings as needed, perform site checks for dimensions and connections, ensure compliance with specifications, and coordinate with project teams.

Qualifications

• Prepares detailed as-built/shop drawings for submission and interior fit-out works/construction.
• Maintains, updates and makes amendments to drawings as needed.
• Performs site checking to ensure proper dimension, connection and detail for fabrication.
• Analyses and interprets changes to drawings.
• Ensures the drawings comply with specifications and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for production of shop drawings and detailed construction issues.
• In charge of all drawing development required by the project.
• Prepares drawings accurately from oral instructions, rough sketches and notes, calculations, dimensions for construction or building works.
• Understands the project scope and requirements in the preparation of detailed shop drawings.
• Explains drawings to production or project teams and provide adjustments as necessary.
