R&S CONSTRUCTION AND DESIGN PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Project Manager cum Sales / Business Development to manage construction/renovation projects from planning to completion and to identify and secure new business opportunities.

The role requires hands-on site management, interpretation of drawings, and coordinating between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will lead project planning, monitor progress, manage budgets, and build long-term client relationships

Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant construction, renovation, fit-out, or project management experience.
Strong hands-on site management capability with end-to-end project ownership.
Proficient in reading and interpreting construction/architectural/structural/M&E drawings.
Knowledge of construction methods, site coordination, safety, quality, and execution.
Experience in cost control, subcontractor coordination, progress claims, variation orders, and documentation.
Strong communication and coordination with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
Sales-minded with ability to develop business opportunities and secure projects.
Leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently with multiple stakeholders and deliver under pressure.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD / MS Project is a plus.
Diploma / Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, PM or related field preferred.
Existing client network or proven track record is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Lead overall project planning, including scope, schedule, manpower, resource allocation, and execution strategy.
Review and understand technical documents, drawings, shop drawings, specs, and project requirements.
Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensure works meet drawings, specs, safety, and timelines.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and site teams for smooth execution.
Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities on technical and commercial matters.
Attend and lead project coordination and site meetings; follow up on actions.
Monitor progress, site issues, risks, and delays; resolve technical and operational problems.
Manage project budget, cost control, material usage, claims, variation orders, progress claims, and final accounts.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and internal quality procedures.
Prepare reports, work schedules, submissions, method statements, and handover docs including as-built drawings and O&M manuals.
Build and maintain strong client and partner relationships for long-term collaboration and repeat business.
Identify and develop new business opportunities; follow up on inquiries and source new clients.
Prepare quotations, project proposals, cost inputs, and assist tender submissions as required.
Collaborate with management to achieve delivery targets and business growth; perform ad-hoc duties as needed.
