Job summary

BYD ASIA DEVELOPMENT (PTE. LTD.) is hiring a Construction Project Supervisor for on-site leadership across multiple Singapore sites.

You will oversee teams to deliver quality work on tight deadlines, coordinate with vendors, inspectors, and staff, and ensure adherence to safety standards. The role requires strong communication in English and Mandarin, the ability to manage multiple projects, and willingness to work weekends and public holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or similar.
• Experience in the construction industry required.
• Experience in a leadership role recommended.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to focus and keep calm under pressure.
• Ability to keep track of multiple projects.
• Competent ability in English and Mandarin.
• Can working at weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure teams collaborate to deliver quality work on strict deadlines.
• Monitor construction processes, provide training and team-building sessions.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times.
• Perform equipment, material, and routine site inspections.
• Schedule regular meetings with vendors, inspectors, managers, and staff.
• Write reports, budgets, project plans, and present them to stakeholders.
• Work closely with architects and other professionals.
• Stay updated with safety codes and construction advancements.
• Assist with recruitment and training of new staff.
• Process paperwork and travel to multiple sites as required.
