Job summary

Housing & Development Board is seeking an Engineer/Architect (Project Management) to represent HDB in working with consultants and contractors on new development projects in Singapore. You will manage from inception to completion, ensuring quality, cost, safety and timely delivery while contributing upstream at design tender stages to address construction considerations.

Qualifications

Qualification in Architecture or Engineering recognised by Singapore professional boards.
Positive learning attitude with strong technical problem-solving abilities.
Good written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders.
Candidates with relevant working experience are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of consultants and contractors to ensure the project is completed on schedule.
Monitor construction master programme and interim milestones.
Ensure samples, structural works, M&E works and architectural finishes meet standards.
Monitor lift installation, commissioning and service wiring.
Ensure regulatory clearances for TOP and CSC are obtained promptly.
Provide upstream construction inputs during planning and design stages.
Conduct in-process audits to ensure works follow approved method statements.
Monitor safety/quality/environmental management and site housekeeping.
Coordinate with other HDB groups and manage budget changes.
Review variation approvals and monitor EOT/LD and progress payments.
