Job summary

INTERWEAVE ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and deliver construction projects from planning to handover in Singapore.

You will coordinate with clients, consultants, and site teams to ensure on-time, on-budget completion with compliance to drawings and standards. The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and a minimum of 5 years' experience in project management, with strong leadership and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction project management.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, project coordination and site management.
• Good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently as well as lead a project team.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Responsible, organised, proactive and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the planning, coordination and execution of construction projects from commencement to completion.
• Manage daily project operations and ensure all works are carried out according to the approved drawings, specifications, project schedule and required standards.
• Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure smooth project progress.
• Monitor project schedules, site progress and manpower requirements, and take the necessary actions to keep the project on track.
• Supervise and coordinate site activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and according to the required quality standards.
• Review construction drawings, method statements and work schedules, and coordinate with the relevant teams to resolve technical and site issues.
• Attend project and site meetings, provide updates on project progress, and follow up on outstanding issues and action items.
• Manage project resources, including manpower, materials, equipment and subcontractors, to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Monitor project costs, variations and subcontractor works to ensure the project is completed within the approved budget.
• Identify potential project risks, delays and site issues, and work with the relevant parties to implement effective solutions.
• Lead and manage the site team, provide clear instructions and ensure that all team members understand their responsibilities and project requirements.
• Prepare and review project reports, progress updates and other necessary documentation.
• Ensure timely completion and proper handover of the project, including rectification and outstanding works.
