Construction Project Engineer: Site Planning & Coordination

Job summary

RS RECRUITMENT AGENCY LLP in Singapore is seeking a proactive Site Coordinator to support project planning, coordinate with consultants and subcontractors, and ensure work complies with drawings, specifications and authorities’ requirements.

You will help prepare documentation for ISO audits, assist safety activities, and guide junior staff while planning work sequences to keep the site progressing smoothly. Fresh graduates with up to five years of experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• To coordinate with consultants / subcontractors on the shopdrawings / samples / method statements and keep all involved parties updated of the latest changes.
• To attend to project / technical meeting and resolve site issues with owner / consultants in order for the site progress to proceed smoothly.
• To verify the work done on site are in accordance to the approved drawings / specifications / authority’s requirement and also ensured that the subcontractor carry out rectification for non-compliance.
• To resolve site issues with consultants / subcontractor / supplier ASAP in order to minimise delay to the construction progress.
• To ensure that the related documentations are updated and ready for ISO audit.
• To cooperate with the safety department and carry out the assigned duties within the safety framework.
• Assist site management team in project Planning & coordination.
• Plan and schedule work sequences for construction operation.
• Arrange and prepare documents for authorities’ submission for Conquas, RI, TOP etc.
• To study tender / construction drawings, specifications, and contracts to understand project requirements.
• Understanding of critical project criteria related to schedule & productivity.
• Must be a team player and ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently, proactive and self-motivated.
• Able to provide guidance to new staff / junior staff.
• Fresh graduates to 5 years of relevant experience.
