Job summary

Micron Technology Asia Operations Pte. Ltd. seeks a Construction Procurement Sourcing Engineer to drive project-level procurement for construction activities.

About 40% of the role is commercial, 60% program and process management, with liaison to category managers and country leads for tenders and sub-contracts. You will serve as the project procurement owner during the performance phase, coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and using AI-enabled tools to enhance productivity,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering.
• PMP certification or equivalent, preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in estimating, project engineering, procurement in the construction industry.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Participate in tenders with General Contract scope for construction projects.
• Lead tenders for sub-contracts within assigned category.
• Evaluate change orders with should-cost team and negotiate pricing.
• Escalate commercial negotiations to category partners as needed.
• Ensure General Contractor accountability to meet performance expectations.
