A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Project Planner to prepare and manage MEP project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project. The role involves monitoring progress against master schedules, preparing EOT claims, and providing detailed reports for project accountability. The ideal candidate should possess at least a Diploma in Engineering (M&E) and have 5 years of experience. Candidates should be willing to travel between multiple sites in Singapore and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (M&E) or equivalent.
At least 5 years of working experience in the related field.
Preferably experienced in scheduling M&E services.

Job Description
Preparation of MEP project schedule and planning using Primavera P6 / Microsoft Project in accordance with the master schedule of main contractor.
Monitoring of progress of the MEP work schedule against master schedule and implementation of delay recovery actions where necessary, in consultation with project director/manager.
Update of site progress of MEP and builder’s works with as-built work programme and photographic records to check against master implementation programme.
Tracking and analysis of delay events or Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
Assisting in the preparation of EOT claims.
Preparation and update of monthly and weekly project progress reports with programme analysis, weekly accomplishment reports, photographic records and status of critical path, recommendation and addressing programme issues relating to entire timely project completion.
Provision of regular reports to the site contracts team for monitoring site activities in terms of contractual changes, variations and disruptions.
Deployment will be site based at Site Office depending on project needs.
Taking instructions directly from Project Director/Project Manager on site.
Reporting to Contracts Manager and Department Head and taking instruction from any one of them for all matters relating to construction planning and working closely and jointly with Contracts Administrator.
Requirements
Possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (M&E) or equivalent.
Good knowledge in MS Excel, MS Project, Primavera (P6).
At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field.
Willing to travel (multiple sites office within Singapore).
Able to work under pressure and multi-task in a fast paced and intellectually demanding environment, team player.
Able to work independently with the fast track projects.
Preferably experienced in scheduling M&E services.
