Job summary

NOVA VITA PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Project/Site Manager to take full ownership of the project schedule, monitor progress, and coordinate with the project team to keep milestones on track.

You will supervise site operations, ensure safety compliance with WSH regulations, manage materials and manpower, and resolve site issues efficiently while delivering within budget.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in steelworks.
• Adaptable and capable of performing under pressure and meeting deadlines.
• Strong leadership and people management with good communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the project schedule by monitoring site progress and coordinating with the project team for updates.
• Coordinate site construction activities and supervise field operations to meet schedule and budget; assist with subcontract requisitions.
• Prepare and manage project schedules, monitor progress, and identify delays or deviations.
• Implement and enforce compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and Singapore safety standards.
• Monitor and control site materials, manage assets and equipment rentals for cost-effective operations.
• Ensure all work complies with codes and company standards; conduct regular site inspections and enforce safety protocols.
• Address and resolve site issues efficiently and professionally.

Job Description:

• 1. Take full ownership of the project schedule by closely monitoring site progress, implementing corrective actions to address delays, and coordinating with the project team to provide regular progress updates.
• 2. Coordinate site construction team activities and supervise field operations to ensure the project is completed on schedule and within budget. Assist in the preparation, review, and technical evaluation of subcontract requisitions and specification documents.
• 3. Prepare and manage project schedules, monitor progress, and identify potential delays or deviations.
• 4. Implement and enforce compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and applicable Singapore safety standards.
• 5. Monitor and control site materials to eliminate wastage and overstock, manage company assets and equipment rentals for optimal utilization, and supervise manpower and overtime to ensure cost-effective operations within or below budget.
• 6. Ensure all work complies with building codes, regulations, and company standards. Conduct regular site inspections and enforce adherence to safety protocols and risk assessments.
• 7. Address and resolve site issues efficiently and professionally.

Requirements:

• 1. Diploma or Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2. Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in steelworks.
• 3. Adaptable and capable of performing effectively under pressure while consistently meeting tight deadlines.
• 4. Strong leadership and people management skills, complemented by excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal abilities.
• 5. Proficient in MS Office.
