Job summary

China Railway First Group Co., Ltd. Singapore Branch seeks a senior construction professional to coordinate subcontractors, manage scheduling, and oversee quality control for railway projects.

You will read detailed construction documents, monitor design progress, handle RFIs and change orders, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance on site.

Candidates with a Bachelor in Civil/Mechanical/Railway Eng and at least 10 years of trackwork experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Needs a Bachelor degree in Civil, Mechanical or Railway Engineering.
• At least 10 years' experience in construction or railway trackwork.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractors, scheduling, and quality control on site.
• Read and interpret detailed construction documents and specs.
• Oversee construction management work and ensure contract compliance.
• Monitor progress related to design requirements on site.
• Track RFIs, submittals and change orders; respond promptly.
• Coordinate quality assurance and inspection services for the project.
• Prepare and update project schedules, pay requests, and progress reports.
• Attend progress meetings and report on contract status.
• Resolve design and field construction problems; provide solutions.
• Advise on contents of operations and maintenance manuals.
• Suggest policy and procedure improvements.
• Monitor field pollution controls (dust, noise, vibration).
• Conduct site audits and testing.
• Enforce safety rules and ensure accountability for safety performance.
• Review and analyze construction claims.

• Experience tracking, reviewing and responding to RFIs, Submittals and change order requests.

Qualifications:
