Job summary

LNDA PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee site operations, ensuring works are completed safely, on schedule and in accordance with project specifications.

You will lead site supervisors and subcontractors, plan manpower and equipment, monitor progress, review drawings and method statements, and liaise with clients and consultants to resolve technical issues and ensure quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant construction experience including supervising site operations.
• Able to interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong leadership, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work a 6-day work week and be stationed at project sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site activities, planning and supervision.
• Allocate manpower, materials and equipment to meet project requirements.
• Lead site supervisors and subcontractors, and coordinate subcontractors’ work.
• Monitor progress, identify delays and implement recovery measures.
• Review drawings, specifications and method statements, and coordinate the resolution of technical issues.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers on site progress and construction matters.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, quality standards and applicable requirements.
• Coordinate with the safety team to implement risk assessments, safe work procedures and permit-to-work requirements.
• Monitor productivity, material usage and site costs to minimise wastage.
• Attend project meetings and prepare site progress reports.
• Coordinate inspections, defect rectification and project handover.

• Good understanding of construction methods, resource planning, quality control and workplace safety.
• Strong leadership, coordination and problem‑solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage project deadlines.
• Experience in industrial or semiconductor construction projects would be an advantage.
• Willing to work a 6‑day work week and be stationed at project sites.
